Master in International teaching
The Master in International Teaching (MIT) Program develops educational leaders focused on addressing the needs of multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and international students in a variety of educational and extracurricular learning environments.
The MIT Degree Program create an academically rich and rigorous environment, to engage our students in contemporary and innovative research-based practices and to develop international teacher leaders who embrace a global perspective guided by our mission of addressing the needs of global learners in a supportive culture of caring and kindness.
Emphasis 1: International School Teaching & Leadership (ISTL)
The MIT program offers a four core-course concentration in ISTL for students interested in teaching at schools around the world. It also focuses on innovative leadership training, designing workforce development programs and assessment and evaluation of school curriculum and programs.
Emphasis 2: Education Business Development & Entrepreneurship (EBDE)
The three-elective course concentration in EBDE is for students interested in developing educational business enterprises within international companies, global organizations and a range of non-traditional and collaborative teaching and learning settings. It focuses on fostering innovative entrepreneurship, business development strategies aligned with educational purposes and educational settings, professional ethics and dynamic management strategies.
